Campaign 2012 Not Too Far in the Future

Obama’s handlers are quietly working behind the scenes to re-establish their base of funding for what they see as a difficult race for president coming up in 2012. They are hoping for at least a repeat of the record breaking fundraising effort which helped install Obama as the nation’s first black president. To help stir them to greater heights is the expectation that the competition is expected to have some fantastic funding of their own, to a tune of about half of one billion dollars.Aides for the Democratic National Committee of recently got in touch with a good number of Obama’s earliest financial supporters to come up with some ideas about when and where the first of many fund-raising functions should take place.
