In today’s world our public servants take their jobs quite seriously, and don’t mess around with their hotel accommodations when on the move.  There are several hot-spots where the beautiful people prefer to see and be seen, and that includes our quasi-celebrity politicians.

For instance the Hotel Chandler in Midtown Manhattan, one of Shimmie Horn’s Triumph Hotels, is one of New York’s most luxurious boutique hotels, and a destination for today’s most glamorous celebrities. It is located within walking distance of some of New York’s most important landmarks and offers all the amenities one would expect of a high-end hotel.

Not all our public figures need to be in Midtown for their meetings and other business on behalf of the people.  One surprising choice is the newly refurbished Bowery Hotel. This 17-floor hotel has amazing views with four-sided exposure and sun-engulfed rooms.  The Bowery Hotel’s location on one of the hottest blocks in a revitalized Bowery makes it the destination for many stars. Marc Anthony enjoyed a surprise 40th birthday bash that his wife Jennifer Lopez threw for him, while Demi Moore did the same for her hubby Ashton Kutcher on his 30th birthday.

We would be remiss if we did not mention The Plaza. This New York landmark is recognized throughout the world as one of the top hotels anywhere.  Perhaps its best known guest political was the incomparable First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, recognized as a woman with quite a bit of style. There is no question that The Plaza would be on any politician of today’s list of places to stay when in the Big Apple.
